Job Description
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Nursing Coordinator to support daily nursing operations and provide administrative assistance to clinical leadership. This role is ideal for someone with healthcare administrative experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to nursing leadership and clinical staff. Coordinate staff schedules and assist with shift coverage. Maintain accurate patient and department records while ensuring confidentiality. Support communication between clinical teams and other departments. Prepare reports, manage data entry, and maintain organized documentation. Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering. Schedule meetings and provide general office support. Help ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or business is a plus. 1+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare, medical office, or clinical environment. Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines is a plus. Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
