Children :
Voorhees Pediatric Facility provides a nurturing and home-like atmosphere filled with attentive and dedicated staff. All staff will work collaboratively to support residents with significant medical complexities and potential cognitive impairments. The Registered Nurse will support holistic care to a medically-fragile community of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse, administers nursing care to designated patients as defined by the Department of Nursing policies and procedures, the Nurse Practice Act of the State of New Jersey, and as contained in this job description. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the facility's policies and procedures.
Daily tasks will include:
Providing care for children, adolescents and young adults in a Long Term Care environment Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician's orders Updating Plan of Care and other pertinent documentation as necessary and to the Dept. Of Health standards. Ensuring residents are ready for scheduled therapies, recreation, school pick-up, dining, etc. Communicating effectively with nursing staff and families We want to ensure that the staff in our employ are attentive, courteous and passionate about our residents. Position Requirements:
Current RN Licensure Current/Active CPR Certification One year of pediatric experience preferred but will consider other specialties
Schedule:
Full-Time; 3 x 12 hour shifts, 36 hours/week Day and night shifts available, night shift eligible for a $1.00 shift differential
Compensation:
Day Rate - $44.93 /hour; Night Rate - $47.72/hour, plus an additional $1.00 shift differential
