Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role you will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children across various age groups ranging from birth through 21 years of age. Your expertise in pediatric health, combined with your passion for working with children, will help foster a supportive environment that promotes healthy growth and development. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients, including infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families. Prescribe medications and therapies following HIPAA regulations, CPT coding standards, and state-specific practice laws. Administer vaccinations in accordance with CDC vaccine schedule Utilize EMR/EHR system (NextGen) to document patient encounters accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings to coordinate patient care effectively. Qualifications Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with valid state licensure. Fluency in Spanish Proven experience working with children Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques and clinical research methodologies. Familiarity with EMR systems Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment Excellent client communication skills to educate families on health, discharge planning, and medication administration. Pay:
$70.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
