Registered Nurse (RN) - School Nurse Aztec, NM Cedar Park Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services for a school district. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN seeking a consistent weekday schedule while making a meaningful impact on student health and wellness. There will be local travel between district schools
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students in a school setting Assess and respond to student health concerns and emergencies Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies Maintain accurate health records and documentation Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and healthcare providers Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions Promote a safe and healthy school environment
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS/CPR certification Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school setting School nursing experience preferred but not required
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Day shift Approximately 37.5 hours per week Follows the school calendar No nights or weekends
