Job Description
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides rapid, high-quality care to patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions. This role emphasizes critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient-centered emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department. Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity. Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments per physician orders. Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols.Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico or compact license. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. TNCC certification preferred. New grads are welcome to apply.Benefits:
