This travel nursing assignment offers the unique chance to advance your Operating Room expertise, collaborate with outstanding teams, and be exposed to a variety of workplace practices and leadership approaches. During your downtime, explore local historic sites, savor authentic Southwestern cuisine, and venture into scenic hiking trails, all while making a genuine difference in patient care.
Schedule:
4 days per week, 10-hour shiftsDays:
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM No required weekends or on-call, but options to pick up additional opportunities if desiredRole Highlights:
Gain exposure to complex patient care in a supportive environment, where you'll practice independently and contribute to patient-centered outcomes while adapting dynamic problem-solving skills. Flexibility to float between campuses as needed provides valuable cross-training and broadens both your experience and professional network.Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional perioperative care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for surgical patients Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs aligned with level of practice Administer and monitor medications and procedural treatments, ensuring patient safety and comfort Accurately document patient history, symptoms, and all care provided Educate patients and families on perioperative processes, recovery, and ongoing care needs Delegate and make assignments to manage clinical operations effectivelyDesired Qualifications:
Current New Mexico RN license or a Compact state license BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) At least 1 year of Operating Room RN experience (preferred)Outstanding Benefits:
