Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Southwest with a travel nursing position based in charming Rowe, NM—a destination renowned for its vibrant scenery, rich history, and outdoor recreation opportunities. On your days off, explore the region's cultural landmarks, unique cuisine, and picturesque trails, turning your travel assignment into an unforgettable adventure. This Operating Room RN role provides the opportunity to enhance your professional repertoire through exposure to a dynamic perioperative environment and a variety of leadership styles. Working at multiple campuses as needed, you'll broaden your nursing skillset collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, all while building an impressive clinical resume.
Schedule/Hours:
4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Full-time assignment No required weekends, though voluntary call is available No set on-call requirement; expectation to stay if cases run late
What You'll Bring:
RN license in New Mexico or compact state BLS certification (AHA required) ACLS certification (AHA required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred At least one year of recent OR nursing experience preferred Willingness to float between primary and main campuses
Key Responsibilities:
Independently provide comprehensive perioperative care to diverse patient populations Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes using evidence-based practices Address patients' holistic needs—including emotional and cultural considerations Safely administer medications and monitor treatments Maintain thorough medical records and facilitate communication with care teams Delegate appropriately and support the professional growth of colleagues Educate patients and families regarding perioperative processes and post-op care What's in it for you?
