Qualifications & Experience:
Current RN license, valid in Nevada Prior experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric, community, or public health setting is highly valued BLS/CPR certification required Strong assessment, communication, and organizational abilities Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with educators, students, and families Adaptability to the school schedule and environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver skilled nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed Manage medication administration, health records, and care plans for chronic conditions Collaborate with educators and administrators regarding students' health needs and accommodations Conduct health screenings and monitor communicable disease prevention Educate students on healthy practices, hygiene, and disease prevention Respond swiftly and effectively to health emergencies on campus Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality in compliance with regulations
