Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination
• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and open heart surgery patients
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitroglycerin
• May float to Intensive Care Units, medical surgical units, and other facilities within the organization
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts
• Subject to call-offs with 48 hours notice for low census
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
