Experience:

2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience. 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months. Experience with Epic is preferred.

Unit Details:

CCTs monitor ECG rhythms on all telemetry patients 24/7. ACTs assist with transport, admissions and discharges, IV and Foley insertion, ADLs, and limited medication administration. Patient population includes CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMIs, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, Covid, post-procedure pacemaker, ablation, and cath lab patients, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. Uses non-titratable cardiac medication drips, including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro.

Shift & Scheduling:

Call is not required. Major holidays may be required. One additional shift is required during each 4-week schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays.

Floating Requirements:

May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows. Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. 14 days maximum time off 2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years Proof of identification required
