Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Active RN license in New York or compact state eligibility Minimum of 1-2 years' recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) Proficiency with procedural sedation, patient assessment, and acute care protocols Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing IR procedures, from admission to discharge Monitor patient response during and after interventions, ensuring comfort and safety Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other multidisciplinary staff Maintain accurate documentation aligned with hospital standards Patient and family education regarding procedures, post-care, and discharge instructions
