Job Description

Seeking a Per Diem Physician or Nurse Practitioner for BCHP's Bardonia Pediatrics Division in Bardonia, NY. Bardonia Pediatrics is a busy pediatric office in Rockland County, NY. Physician pay rate will be approx $95/hr-$100/hr. Nurse Practitioner pay rate will be approx. $60/hr-$70/hr. Schedule will be approx. 2 days per week and 1 Saturday per month. Organizational Duties and Responsibilities Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Boston Children's Health Physicians in its efforts to provide quality service and patient satisfaction Demonstrate continuing education by completing all required annual trainings, as stated in the Training Curriculum, including but not limited to care coordination, population health management and self-management support techniques. Complete annual corporate compliance training Understand and effectively communicate HIPAA compliance, corporate compliance and client confidentiality Ensure and/or remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulation Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients as appropriate according to the scope of practice Use evidence based, shared decision making tools whenever possible Document all encounters in the EMR Bill for services appropriately Perform population level health assessments such as vaccination reports to ensure that patients do not slip through the cracks and miss vaccinations or other tests Support the nurse and medical assistant on the care team Provide care in a patient-centered manner Attend medical home meetings Allow care team to work under standing orders to the top of their license Participate in pre-visit planning Maintain board certification and enrollment in professional societies Demonstrate excellence in both internal and external customer service Other duties as assigned BCHP will recruit, hire, train, transfer, promote, layoff and discharge associates in all job classifications without regard to their race, color, religion, creed, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, age, gender, actual or presumed disability, history of disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic predisposition or carrier status, pregnancy, military status, marital status, or partnership status, or any other characteristic protected by law BCHP will recruit, hire, train, transfer, promote, layoff and discharge associates in all job classifications without regard to their race, color, religion, creed, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, age, gender, actual or presumed disability, history of disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic predisposition or carrier status, pregnancy, military status, marital status, or partnership status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
