ROOM NURSE

North Queens Surgical Center, is looking for a Full Time Operating Room Nurse to join our multispecialty, Joint Commission accredited ambulatory surgery located in Bayside, New York.

Responsibilities:

Candidate will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the operative phase including setting up of the OR with instruments and supplies, extending assistance through various types of surgical procedures: Ophthalmology Orthopedics Pain Management Podiatry ENT /

Plastics Pediatrics Urology Requirements:

• Minimum two years of operating room circulation experience, preferably in an Ambulatory surgery setting Registered Nurse Licensed (RN) New York State Must have current BLS and ACLS certification (PALS within 3 months)
• Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and safely
