Latitude was founded in 2018 by food allergy parents in partnership with world-renowned researchers to provide an exceptional patient experience specifically designed for the needs of food allergy patients of all ages. Led by board-certified allergists, Latitude has provided evidence-based solutions like OIT to more than 11,000 patients with single and multiple food allergies, including those with the most severe food allergies. Responsibilities and Duties Per diem float position for two offices: Westchester and Long Island Obtaining vital signs, placing allergy skin tests, administering injections, overseeing oral food challenges, preparing oral immunotherapy doses, assisting with emergency care, and providing patient education Performing blood draws for both pediatric and adult patients Proactive patient care including monitoring and responding to patient calls, messages, dose management, and EMR messages Administrative responsibilities include ordering labs, obtaining insurance approvals, scheduling, data entry, ordering medications and restocking clinical supplies Assisting with scheduling, rooming, and front desk duties while the office grows patient volume Requirements Active New York RN license; preferred > 2 years of clinical practice BLS/CPR certification obtained within 30 days of hire Phlebotomy certification or experience with pediatric blood draws Background with Pediatrics and/or Allergy/Immunology Must be willing to float to both Westchester and Long Island offices Qualities Comfortable working independently and on a team Personable and professional, especially with pediatric patients and their parents Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently Positive approach reflected in both patient and team communication Personal initiative, self-motivation, hands-on style and strong work ethic Latitude Food Allergy Care is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience.
Pay:
