Duration:
13 weeks
Contract Schedule:
Part-Time, 4 days/week, 38 hours/week, 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM, every other weekend
Pay Rate:
Hourly $85 to $96 for travel / Hourly $75 to $80 for local. Required Qualifications Active New York State RN License Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience Wound Care and Colostomy Care experience AHA BLS Certification NYSED Primary Source Verification Required Wound Care Certifications (one of the following) CWOCN
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse CWON
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse CWCN
  • Certified Wound Care Nurse CWS
  • Certified Wound Specialist WCC
  • Wound Care Certified Key Responsibilities Conduct wound, ostomy, and continence assessments Develop and manage patient care plans Monitor and document treatment outcomes Provide patient, family, and staff education Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives Support pressure injury prevention programs Manage wound care-related equipment and resources Required Skills Med/Surg Nursing Wound Care Colostomy Care Patient Assessment Care Planning Additional Skills Patient Education Staff Education Quality Improvement Cultural Competence Asset Management For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
