This position involves providing nursing care under the supervision of a nurse supervisor in an onsite setting in Commack, NY. The role is contract-based, with evening shifts from Friday to Tuesday. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health and safety, and training direct care staff.

Requirements:

Monitor and assist in the overall health and safety of individuals served. Supervise and train staff regarding medication administration and health issues. Complete yearly recertification for medication-certified personnel. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Generate and document incident, seizure, and illness reports. Ensure maintenance and review of medical records per guidelines. Monitor medication supply and maintain medical goods and equipment.

Qualifications:

Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred. Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Current New York county license.
