Weeks Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to obstetric patients. Care for patients throughout the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) process. Provide nursing care to antepartum patients. Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Assist with labor and delivery procedures. Provide comprehensive postpartum care and patient education. Perform nursing assessments and maintain accurate patient documentation. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge. Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient-safety standards. Assist with newborn stabilization when required.
Required Experience:
Full-scope LDRP experience is
REQUIRED.
Candidates must have experience in all three areas:
Labor & Delivery Postpartum Antepartum Candidate Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
NYS. BLS
by
AHA/ACLS
Recent and relevant Obstetrics/LDRP clinical experience. Demonstrated full-scope experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum. Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills. Ability to work varied shifts as required. Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced obstetric environment. Updated resume/CV with detailed LDRP experience.
Pay:
$75.00 - $83.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
