Job type Full-time Number of hires for this role On-going need to fill this role Full Job Description Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients in a private physician practice. Administer immunizations and injections. Use clinical judgment to address patient messages and assess patient concerns. Document ongoing patient telephone calls, respond to patient's questions, and communicate medical information effectively with providers for patient plan of care. Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaints, vital signs, medications and allergies. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete appropriate paperwork as directed by provider(s). Other clinical duties may include assisting with the examination and treatment of patients. Current New York State Registered Nurse License Schedule:

40 hours per week for full-time, part-time negotiable Monday to Friday. A Walk In Clinic position requires weekend hours. Day and Evening shifts

Working Conditions:

Requires hearing and vision correctable to normal range. Requires full range of body motion to include bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting. Regularly requires walking and standing 50% or more of the time. Work is performed in an office environment with high patient/staff contact. Ability to lift and/or carry a minimum of 25-30 pounds. Involves exposure to communicable diseases, infectious materials, blood, and body fluids. It can become stressful and intense depending on patient volume.
