Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort Administering medications, monitoring sedation levels, and responding promptly to patient needs Performing pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care, providing critical patient education Maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflow and patient throughput Preparing procedural rooms, equipment, and supplies for a variety of interventional radiology cases Desired qualifications and experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum of one year of clinical experience in interventional radiology or a related specialty Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of vascular access, conscious sedation, and emergency response protocols Outstanding communication skills and a patient-centered approach Ability to adapt to fast-paced, technology-driven procedural environments Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care This role presents a valued opportunity to contribute to innovative patient treatments and gain further experience in a specialized nursing field.
