Job Description

Overview The Registered Nurse provides safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting. The RN provides clinical leadership and is a resource for the staff.
Job Details Please note:
This is primarily a non-hands-on, desk-based role . Direct patient care is limited, with in-person clinical duties (such as injections) performed only when necessary.
    Provider Support & Care Coordination:
    Serve as a key support to providers by managing clinical workflows, coordinating care, and ensuring timely follow-up on patient needs.
      Results Management & Patient Follow-Up:
      Review lab and diagnostic results, communicate findings to patients, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care under provider direction.
        Inbasket Monitoring & Communication:
        Actively manage the EHR inbasket by responding to patient messages, refill requests, and provider communications in a timely and professional manner.
          Triage & Clinical Assessment:
          Perform phone and electronic triage to assess patient concerns, prioritize needs, and escalate appropriately to providers.
            Limited Clinical Duties:
            Provide in-person clinical support, including administering injections or assisting with minor procedures, only when necessary. .
            Position Requirements:
            • Diploma/Degree from an accredited RN program, Bachelor's degree preferred
            • Current NYS RN License. BLS training and current certification. ACLS current certification required
            • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills to enhance age-specific care. Team collaboration and analytical problem solving
            • Ability to work with Electronic Health records, Practice Management and Scheduling system
            • Minimum of two years of experience as an RN in a physicians practice or ambulatory environment or previous related experience
            • Must be able to function effectively in a busy outpatient clinical setting Posted Salary Range USD $43.
            00 - USD $67.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
