Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic nursing role focused on telemetry care, delivering essential bedside support to patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring. This contract position is designed for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry settings, particularly those adept with the Epic electronic health record system.
Schedule/Hours:
Every other weekend required Every other holiday required
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted RN license Demonstrated experience in a Telemetry unit Proficiency with Epic EHR is required Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct bedside care to telemetry patients, including monitoring, assessment, and timely interventions Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes using Epic Respond to changes in patient conditions with sound clinical judgment and appropriate escalation Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and ongoing care needs Uphold all facility protocols and regulatory requirements for quality and safety
