Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Previous experience in a school nurse, pediatric, or educational setting preferred Solid clinical assessment, emergency response, and medication administration skills Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Ability to provide compassionate care while prioritizing student safety and confidentiality Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse student needs across multiple locations

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to students within the ESY program, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management Implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and collaborate with educators and parents to ensure student health needs are met Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care with outside providers when necessary Document all health-related incidents, treatments, and interventions in accordance with school and state regulations Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and best wellness practices Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support overall student well-being This is an excellent chance to make a difference during the summer, gain valuable experience in an educational setting, and collaborate with a supportive school community.
