Category Nursing - RN - Endoscopy Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced RN with Endoscopy/GI Lab skills for a contract assignment. This role involves caring for a diverse patient group using a holistic, evidence-based approach in a supportive healthcare setting.

Schedule:

5x8 hour shifts Day shift

Key Qualifications:

Valid NYS RN license, limited permit, or eligibility required Proven experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab settings Strong assessment, analytical, and critical thinking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Core Responsibilities:

Complete ongoing patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive needs Develop, implement, and evaluate a goal-directed plan of care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide therapeutic interventions Perform and document patient care accurately and promptly Identify and manage emergency situations following established protocols Ensure compliance with hospital standards, policies, and legal practices Participate in unit and departmental staff development activities Provide care sensitive to the unique needs and rights of patients and their families Maintain awareness of current best practices and integrate research into care as appropriate Prioritize patient care needs and utilize available resources efficiently Deliver age-appropriate care and promote a positive experience for patients and families

Physical Requirements:
