Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Recent experience as a PACU or post-anesthesia care unit nurse required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, team-oriented surgical recovery settings Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional post-anesthesia care, promoting patient safety and comfort from surgery through discharge Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and communicate status to surgical and anesthesia teams Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary staff and provide compassionate education to patients and families Respond to emergencies or changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
