Qualifications:

Active RN license ACLS and BLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification Competence in reading basic rhythm strips Prior experience in Telemetry strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to work within a primary and team nursing model

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess cardiac patients in the Telemetry unit Accurately interpret EKG/rhythm strips and respond with clinical best practices Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Observe, record, and report patient conditions with attention to detail Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care using both primary and team nursing approaches Adhere to safety protocols and policy regulations
