Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract A dynamic healthcare setting seeks a registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care across multiple specialties. This contract role involves supporting diverse patient populations and requires a strong clinical background in medical-surgical nursing, long-term care, and psychiatric care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient outcomes and the overall care team.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Clinical experience in med-surg, long-term care, and psychiatric nursing Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a variety of patients Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and family interactions Adaptability to changing patient and unit needs A commitment to maintaining professional standards and confidentiality Current BLS certification (additional specialty certifications preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical, psychiatry, and long-term care units Conduct comprehensive assessments and accurately document changes in patient status Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Administer medications, monitor responses, and manage side effects Educate patients and families about care goals, medications, and health maintenance Respond promptly to emergencies and support crisis intervention efforts when required Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients Why Apply?
