A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. Job Description

Assessment, planning, implementing, evaluation and supervising care of patients in all areas to include teaching and discharge relief charge, as needed, utilizing standards of care, policies and procedures.
Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Associate diploma or B.S.N.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months one year medical surgical hospital experience required, previous OB experience preferred
Training/License:
N.A./
Current NYS Registered Nurse Other:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM
Training required within 6 months of employment. Certification in inpatient obstetrics and EFM certification preferred.
