Provide direct patient care as a registered nurse when needed and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff (e.g., LPNs/CNAs) to support daily operations. Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, document findings, and communicate with the interdisciplinary care team for timely interventions. Administer medications and document in the medical record, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with policies. Facilitate care planning, participate in rounds, discharge planning, and staff education; support orientation and ongoing development of team members. Ensure regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and patient safety; report incidents and address quality improvement opportunities.
