RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control Job Summary:
A sub-acute and long-term care facility in is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of excellence in patient care and ensuring the highest quality services to our residents. RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control Responsibilities:
Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care, infection prevention, and control Conduct infection control surveillance, identify areas of improvement, and implement appropriate measures to reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) Collaborate with the Nursing Department to develop and maintain policies and procedures related to infection control and prevention Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and overall care Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control regulations and standards Provide guidance and support to staff members on infection control practices and protocols Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to stay updated on the latest infection control guidelines and best practices
RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York 5 years of RN experience is required, but prior experience in infection control or staff education is desirable
