Key Requirements:
Active RN license, with current eligibility to practice in NY BLS and ACLS certifications required At least 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting Strong knowledge of perioperative processes and aseptic technique Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments
Primary Duties:
Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-op phases Assist surgical teams with preparation, instrumentation, and patient monitoring in the OR Maintain strict infection control standards and patient safety protocols Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and other staff to facilitate optimal outcomes Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
