Qualifications & Experience:

Valid and current RN license Previous experience in Telemetry and/or Med Surg units Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes Proficiency in electronic medical records and charting BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving situations

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Telemetry and Med Surg units Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, intervening as necessary Administer medications, treatments, and manage IV lines in accordance with physician orders Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff Assess patient conditions, update care plans, and document care provided Educate patients and their families on health conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all patients Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and high standards of patient safety
