Registered Nurse (RN) (Per diem) Surge Rehab and Nursing - 4.1 Middle Island, NY Job Details Per diem $48 - $50 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications RN License Full Job Description Surge Rehabilitation and Nursing has Per diem opportunities for dedicated Registered Nurses to join their team.
Shift available:
All shifts
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
(Including but not limited to): RN's are responsible for the overall operation and optimal quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team. The per diem RN supports patient care delivery through routine tasks such as medication administration and ensuring continuity of care across all shifts Comply with all state requirements and facility policies, procedures and standards of conduct. Have the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individualized needs. Guides the staff and ensures tasks are being completed Administers nursing care to the ill, injured or disabled residents. Monitors and reports changes in residents' symptoms and behavior. Communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and or physicians. Reports to the Director of Nursing
QUALIFICATIONS
Current RN license Reliable transportation and demonstrate excellent work ethic. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
