This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers you the chance to provide essential care in the school health office until December 23, with the potential for extension if a permanent hire is not made internally. Your expertise will play an important part in fostering a healthy, safe, and inclusive space for students and staff throughout the school day.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current state RN license, in good standing Experience as an RN in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and respond calmly in urgent situations Current CPR and First Aid certification

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver daily health services including assessment, triage, and care for ill or injured students and staff Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with doctors orders and school protocols Maintain accurate student health records, documenting visits and follow-up care Collaborate closely with educators, families, and outside healthcare providers to support student well-being Monitor for communicable diseases and assist with required screenings and health education Maintain the school health office to meet regulatory and safety standards Enjoy competitive hourly pay ranging from $38 to $48, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage plus eligibility to enroll in a 401(k) retirement plan.
