Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of recent/consecutive RN Correctional experience Active and unencumbered RN license (New York) Current BLS certification

•AHA Comfortable working with incarcerated patient populations Flexibility to handle emergencies, security protocols, and high-stress situations Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to inmates in accordance with established policies and procedures. Administer medications, perform treatments, and document accurately in patient records. Assist with medical emergencies and collaborate with correctional officers to ensure safety. Monitor and respond to physical and mental health needs of patients. Support physicians and RNs in implementing individualized treatment plans.
