Cross Country Education is seeking a School Nurse in New Rochelle, NY to promote student health, respond to immediate medical needs, and help create a safe, supportive learning environment throughout the school year. Per Diem opportunities available Position Overview Provide comprehensive nursing care to K-7 students, including assessment, first aid, medication administration, and management of health concerns in the nurse's office. Monitor student health needs, maintain accurate medical records, and follow established health and safety protocols. Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical situations while coordinating care with families, school staff, and healthcare providers as needed. Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with ongoing medical needs, ensuring appropriate care and support throughout the school day. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification School nursing experience highly preferred Proficient Spanish is a plus Why Join Cross Country Education?
Competitive Pay:
