Approx. 14-16 Weeks Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to support leadership operations within pediatric inpatient units, including General Pediatrics, PICU, and NICU. This role focuses on improving patient care quality, supervising nursing staff, and supporting unit-level performance and compliance. The Nurse Supervisor will collaborate closely with nurse managers and clinical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care while implementing performance improvement initiatives and maintaining regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement programs to improve patient care quality and staff performance Monitor nursing staff performance and support corrective action processes Collaborate with nurse managers across pediatric units (General Peds, PICU, NICU) Maintain and improve documentation systems, including medication error tracking and counseling records Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Support staffing coordination and operational efficiency across assigned units Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits Provide leadership guidance to nursing teams in high-acuity pediatric environments Promote safe, patient-centered care practices and interdisciplinary collaboration Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills Experience in acute care hospital settings required BLS certification required For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
