Job Summary The Registered Nurse, in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager, is responsible for providing quality patient care by demonstrating clinical competence and participating in ongoing Performance Improvement. Provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process, with special attention to the special needs and behaviors of the total population. Manages the provision of patient care through integrating the functions of the Health Care Teams. Assumes responsibility for clinical leadership on the unit as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Required Ability to read, write and communicate in English Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility. Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.
