Responsibilities Assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room; Plan, implement, and assist in the oversight of patient care; Circulate and scrub cases, as assigned; Support procedural teams as needed to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency; Assist with room turnover and case preparation in accordance with sterile technique and infection-prevention standards; Adhere to time-out procedures and Universal Protocol standards; Maintain high safety standards for both patients and other staff; Accurately document care given according to center policies and procedures; Monitor stock levels, supplies, and equipment needs; Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection-control practices, and performance metrics Collaborate effectively with proceduralists, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and administrative staff Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
