$145,000 - $175,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Under the supervision of the Nursing/Advanced Practice Director, and in conjunction with the respective attending physicians, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for assisting with patients in the outpatient Lymphoma clinic setting. This includes diagnostic (e.g. bone marrow biopsies) and therapeutic interventions, under a medical collaborative agreement.

Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical examinations, for patients with lymphoma and related hematologic conditions Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging; initiate and modify treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures appropriate to the outpatient setting, including bone marrow biopsies, in accordance with credentialing and collaborative practice agreements Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions consistent with scope of practice and regulatory requirements Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and follow-up care Obtain informed consent and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and treatments Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care to support optimal clinical outcomes Document all clinical encounters, assessments, procedures, orders, and patient education in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care Serve as a clinical liaison to referring providers, external institutions, and transfer teams as needed Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to departmental, institutional, and regulatory standards Perform related clinical duties and responsibilities as assigned Minimum Qualification Master's degree in nursing or equivalent in education and training, plus one to two years of related experience Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license (or proof of application) Current New York State Registered Nurse license National board certification in an appropriate NP specialty Prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) Strong clinical judgment with the ability to make timely, effective patient care decisions Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced outpatient setting Excellent organizational and time-management skills Effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to assume evolving clinical responsibilities Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and respect for diverse patient populations and perspectives Preferred Qualifications Experience in hematology Familiarity with
