Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Oneida, NY Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a per diem basis. We cover 9 counties in upstate NY including Oneida and Madison county. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently while providing high-quality care and support to patients in their homes. Responsibilities Complete patient admissions and start-of-care assessments Conduct recertification visits and required documentation Perform supervisory visits for home health aides and personal care aides Assess patient needs and communicate findings to the clinical team Provide field education and training Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Reliable transportation and valid driver's license What We Offer Flexible per diem scheduling Per-Visit compensation Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community Join our team of dedicated nurses and help us provide exceptional care to patients throughout the Ithaca area.
