Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-PEDS Job Type Contract Advance your career in pediatric nursing by providing exceptional care to children and their families within a reputable healthcare facility. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make a lasting impact on young patients' well-being.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric nursing setting Proficiency in pediatric assessment, medication administration, and family education Current BLS certification (PALS certification preferred) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents Monitor, assess, and record vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and unit protocols Educate patients and families on health maintenance, discharge planning, and disease management Collaborate with providers, therapists, and other nurses to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow established protocols Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements This contract assignment offers a fulfilling opportunity to work with a dedicated team supporting some of the most vulnerable patients.
