Key Qualifications:

Current New York State RN licensure, limited permit, or eligibility for licensure Recent experience in Endoscopy, GI Lab, or a related acute care environment Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills Ability to provide age-appropriate care and adapt to varied patient needs Effective communicator with a commitment to patient advocacy Awareness of legal and ethical issues in healthcare practice Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and unit activities

Perform ongoing patient assessment/data collection, focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status Analyze assessment data to develop and implement goal-directed plans of care Deliver safe, consistent care according to established standards and protocols Complete timely, accurate documentation for all aspects of patient care Respond adeptly to emergency situations, applying appropriate protocols and ensuring thorough communication Actively participate in staff development, contributing to a culture of continuous learning Prioritize patient needs, efficiently managing available resources Ensure a safe environment and uphold patient rights with sensitivity and professionalism Stay informed about current nursing research and integrate applicable findings into daily practice
