Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Experienced RNs with a background in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing will find this opportunity tailored to their skills. This position involves working in a dynamic stepdown unit where clinical expertise is highly valued.
Schedule:
3x12-hour night shifts
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Recent experience in Telemetry, Stepdown, or Med/Surg units Proficiency in performing assessments and developing care plans Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting as part of daily responsibilities Strong medication administration skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality direct patient care in a stepdown environment Manage a 6:1 patient ratio on night shifts, maintaining effective clinical oversight Perform thorough assessments and ongoing patient evaluations Develop, implement, and update care plans based on changing patient needs Administer medications and monitor for any adverse reactions or changes in status Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to support optimal outcomes This contract role provides a valuable chance to broaden your clinical experience while making a direct impact on patient recovery.
