Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license, eligible for practice in NY Minimum of one year recent experience in PACU required BLS and ACLS certifications (active and up-to-date) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients Positive references and clean background check
Responsibilities:
Provide vigilant post-anesthesia care and monitoring in compliance with PACU protocols Assess patient status, manage pain control, and respond to changes in condition swiftly Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes Educate patients and families on post-op care and discharge instructions Accurately document interventions and observations
