Qualifications:
Valid RN license in New York (or compact state eligibility) Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willingness to obtain) Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Experience with conscious sedation and endoscopic procedures preferred Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures Prepare procedure rooms, assist physicians, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Administer medications and conscious sedation in accordance with hospital policy Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes What's in it for you?
