Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred) Strong understanding of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety protocols Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled and compassionate preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to surgical patients Circulate and/or scrub on cases, ensuring adherence to sterile technique and safety standards Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to anticipate needs and facilitate efficient procedures Monitor patients for changes and respond appropriately throughout the surgical process Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses according to facility protocols Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe environment in the operating area This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
