Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated RN - Overnight Supervisor to join our team and deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a passion for supporting patients' needs in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves managing patient assessments, administering medications, and ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed to promote optimal health outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments during overnight shifts to monitor vital signs, evaluate symptoms, and identify urgent needs. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records Ensure infection control standards are maintained through proper sterilization, specimen collection, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Experience Proven experience in long term care Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice & palliative care. Knowledge of advanced nursing procedures including tube feeding management, laboratory specimen processing, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Familiarity with emergency response procedures such as basic life support (BLS) and neonatal resuscitation is essential.
