Job Description

Staff Nurses (Rns & LPNs) Nursing Home Locateed in

Valley Cottage, NY Salary :

$35-$45/

HR Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses:

Provide bedside care Administer medications and document therapeutic effects Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration) Assist with resident comfort Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas Collect samples and monitor catheters Help coach staff as necessary

Responsibilities of Registered Nurses:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to work as a team member with the nurses and nurse aides. Understanding of the behavior and needs of elderly people. Ability to communicate effectively to the residents, families, visitors and staff. Accuracy in documentation is essential.

Qualifications :

Must have current New York RN or LPN license Must have experience in long term care/skilled nursing Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills #7577
