Summary:
Southern Tier Women's Health Services is seeking a mission-driven Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and help deliver high-quality patient-focused reproductive healthcare under the supervision of the Medical Director.Location:
Vestal, New York Part-Time:
12-16 hours per week - Wednesday & Thursday 9AM to 5PM Salary range: $23-$32 / hr Responsibilities include:- Assist physician and patient during procedures.
- Monitor and chart patient's vitals and chart all medical care.
- Provide a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental atmosphere for patients to make their own decisions for their bodies.
- Educating patients about gynecological procedures, exploring patients' feelings, circumstances and ability to cope with any challenges they may be facing. Qualifications
- Current New York RN or LPN License
- A working knowledge of the female reproductive system, contraceptive methods, gynecological problems, human sexuality and development.
- Current certification in basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Infection Control.
