Qualifications:
Active RN license in New York, or compact state eligibility Minimum of 1 year recent PACU RN experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments Exceptional communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Provide vigilant post-anesthesia nursing care, monitoring patients' recovery and vital signs Administer medications and treatments as needed Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations Document interventions and communicate effectively with physicians and surgical staff Uphold evidence-based practices, ensuring safe transitions from operating room to recovery
